The learning continues even during the pandemic time! It was great to hold an AI Robotics workshop at UniKL Malaysia in early September! Participants had an overview of AI applications for practical service robot development and gained hands-on experience working with three units of Jupiter Robot. A big thanks to the team of Megat Azmi at Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (MIIT), UniKL for the enthusiastic participation!

AI Applications Workshop @Sunway University Malaysia – 10-11 March 2020
Working with Department of Computing and Information Systems at Sunway University, we organised our very first 2-day AI Applications Workshop in Malaysia! A combination of theory and hands-on sessions, participants gained an introductory overview of AI applications, from autonomous navigation to speech recognition!
A.I.R. Week Hong Kong – 20 January 2020
We are honoured to have joined Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) during the A.I.R. Week 2020 which saw the launch of the Robotics Catalysing Centre 2.0 and AI PLUG! Also had the opportunity to visit the University of Hong Kong, the City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong to explore collaboration opportunities. Looking forward to working closely with AI Academy and universities in bringing AI learning to Hong Kong!

Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair (KLESF) – 1-3 November 2019
The inaugural RoboCup@Home Education Challenge was held in Malaysia successfully! In conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair (KLESF) 2019 at Mines, we conducted an AI workshop & competition which saw participations from 5 universities (UPM, UTHM, UTM, UTAR, UniKL) and Polytechnic Port Dickson!
AI Service Robot Workshop at ITE College East – 29 October 2019
Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is the national vocational education institution in Singapore, operating three campuses – ITE College Central, ITE College East & ITE College West. We were recently invited to conduct an AI Service Robot Workshop at ITE College East for the teachers and engineers. A productive day where participants learnt about the RoboCup@Home Education initiative and got the opportunity to have hands-on experience with our Jupiter Robot in the afternoon!
